Load up your GPS and camping gear, invite your Family and Friends to join us for a fun filled weekend at Turtle River State Park.
 
Turtle River State Park is located 22 miles west of Grand Forks on Highway 2. (Maps)
 
Situated on the meandering Turtle River, Turtle River State Park is located in a beautiful wooded valley. Constructed in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the park offers year-round recreational activities, including camping, picnicking, fishing and trails for hiking, mountain biking and cross country skiing. Rustic group cabins can also be rented.  
The following park fees will apply
Entrance fee:
·         $5.00 per day per vehicle or $25.00 annual permit.
Camping Fee:
·         $20.00 per night campsite with electricity/water
·         $12.00 per night campsite with no hookups
Woodland Cabins:
·         Ten units sleep up to 6. Two of 12 units are ADA compliant(wheelchair accessible) and sleep up to 3 each. All units equipped with private showers and toilets.

Friday, June 20th (GC50RT2) Meet and Greet
Arrive and find your campsite
6 pm or earlier: Come over to campsites 40 and 41 for a meet and greet
6 to 9 pm:  We will supply BBQs, chips, and some drinks.   
8 to 9 pm: NDGCA Presentation to park residents about geocaching (Geocaching 101) at the Amphitheater
9 pm: Campfire and sharing caching stories at campsites 40 and 41
 
Saturday June 21st (GC50V0D) Caching and Camping
8:30 am: Registration - Get your temporary and permanent cache listings, sign participant waiver and sign log book
9:00 am: Short announcements
9:30 am: Start caching (inside or outside of the park)
12:00 pm: Bring your lunch to the Aggasiz Shelter or on your own
1:30 pm: Continue caching or games (Kubb, Molkey, Bocce Ball, etc)
5:00 pm: Group Photo
5:30 - 7:30 pm: Pot Luck - Grilled burgers and hot dogs with buns provided. Please bring a dish to share. (Freewill offering to cover the cost of the burgers and hot dogs and the condiments with any leftover proceeds going to the NDGCA)
5:30 - 6:45 pm: Silent Auction (view/bid during dinner)
7:00 pm: Prize drawing and silent auction results
7:30 pm: NDGCA Annual Meeting – all members and non-members welcome.  Share thoughts and ideas.
9:00 pm: Gather at campsites 40 and 41 for campfire and socializing
Sunday June 22nd (GC50TZX) Turtle River State Park CITO
10 am - 12 pm: Join us for a CITO event to help cleanup areas within the park.
