Une petite marche d'environ 20mn, un dénivelé de moins de 100m, pour la découverte d'une tour de guet, sa cascade et ... leur point de vue, à environ 700m de haut !
Garez vous à la position indiquée et prenez le chemin devant vous.
Tournez à droite au premier virage et dirigez vous toujours vers votre droite.
Au waypoint indiqué, vous trouverez la cache : Vers la tour et la cascade du Castech, placée là pour vous indiquer le chemin. Vous arriverez très vite à un petit pont, et ... dernière ascension vers la tour.
Si vous n'avez pas le vertige et si vous avez le pied sûr, vous pourrez passer sur le côté de la tour et vous asseoir devant elle pour profiter d'une belle vue. Mais attention ! Le passage peut être dangereux et peu adapté pour des enfants.
Cette tour (aussi appelée tour de Cra-Cassau) date du 12e - 15e siècle. Objet de promenades et de crayons romantiques, cette tour carrée est un jalon de la surveillance médiévale entre Castelvielle et Cier-de-Luchon. Maurice Gourdon (pyrénéiste français) l'inclut dans un ensemble de "tours à signaux" édifiées lors de la présence des Arabes dans les pré-Pyrénées espagnoles.
On entend aussi dire que ce sont des "tours sarrazines".

A short walk of about 20 minutes, a height difference of less than 100m, for the discovery of a watchtower, a waterfall and ... their views, about 700m high!
Park your car at the specified position and take the path before you.
Turn right at the first bend and always head to your right.
At the indicated waypoint, you will find the cache: Vers la tour et la cascade du Castech, placed there to show you the way. You will quickly get to a small bridge, and ... last ascent to the tower.
If you are not afraid of heights and if you are sure-footed, you can walk along the side of the tower and sit in front of it to enjoy a beautiful view. But beware! The passage can be dangerous and NOT suitable for children.
This tower (also called Tower of Cra-Cassau) dates from the 12th-15th century. Subject of romantic walks and crayons, this square tower is a landmark of medieval surveillance between Castelvielle and Cier-de-Luchon. Maurice Gourdon (a French pyreneist) includes it in a set of "signal towers" built at the time of Arab presence in the Spanish pre-Pyrenees.
They are also said to be "Saracen towers."
