The church of St John The Baptist has been the parish church since the 13th century. Amongst its features of interest it boasts 15th century wall paintings rediscovered during restoration works in 1983. Since March 2010, after nearly a century of silence, the largest bell in the tower once again strikes the hours for the village. Wiltshire Community History has a page on the history of the church.
