When I was a Scout Master I took Wood Badge Training. One part required all of us to become knowledgeable in an aspect of Scouting. I picked New England tree identification. When caching in the woods, I still try to identify the trees along the trail.
As cachers, we all should have a little better knowledge of the woods we hike, so so sharpen your skills and find this cache.
The cache is hidden at:
N41 37.Shagbark Hickory, Black Walnut, Sugar Maple
W72 18. Eastern Cedar, White Oak, Holly
Turn the correct leaf to find the final coordinates.
We have all seen the hint, hidden "in a cedar tree" when we found the cache in a white pine. I hope this cache will help us improve our tree identification
