Historie
Tato mystery cache vás zavede ke střelnici Myslivna u Chebu. Střelnice zde existuje již od poloviny devatenáctého století, kdy ji provozovala armáda a chebští ostrostřelci. Střelnice byla původně čtyřsetmetrová. Na někdejším začátku střelnice jsou dodnes viditelné zarostlé zděné zákopy. Zajímavé je, že dopadový val nebyl vybudován hned na počátku existence střelnice, ale až později, pravděpodobně po stížnostech sedláků z blízké obce Horní Pelhřimov, kteří byli ohrožováni dopadající municí…
Ještě po druhé světové válce byla střelnice majetkem státu a ve správě armády. Později ji začal využívat Svazarm, nynější AVZO. Na střelnici bývaly zastřešené střelecké stavy a budovy s technickým zázemím. V osmdesátých letech je však StB nechala strhnout, aby nemohly poskytovat úkryt uprchlíkům, kteří by se chtěli dostat přes blízkou hranici do Německa, a také agentům, kteří by se chtěli naopak nepozorovaně dostat z Německa k nám. Co zde zbylo, bylo postupně zničeno a rozkradeno. Střelnice byla dlouho bez vybavení a bez budov a měla mnoho let podobu pouhého lesního průseku s dopadovým valem. V roce 2016 se situace začala měnit. Byl zde vybudován odvodňovací systém, střelnice byla oplocena a dostala základní vybavení.
Současnost
Dnes se střelnice využívá pro tréningy a pravidelné střelecké soutěže na vzdálenost do 100 m. Pokud sem přijdete v době, kdy se tam odehrává střelecká soutěž, můžete se zúčastnit – na soutěže je obvykle přístup i bez zbrojního průkazu a organizátoři budou jistě ochotni zapůjčit vám legálně zbraň a pod odborným dohledem vám umožní, abyste si vystřelili a třeba i vyhráli!
Popis
Keš není umístěna přímo na ploše střelnice ani na jiných místech, kde byste mohli být ohroženi nebo kam by byl omezený nebo zakázaný přístup. Protože okolní lesy jsou bohaté na houby a houbaře, zvláště v létě a na podzim nebude vaše přítomnost na místě nijak neobvyklá ani nápadná. A když už si nezastřílíte, třeba najdete nějakou pěknou houbu.
Na uvedených souřadnicích cache nehledejte, ale můžete zde zaparkovat své geovozidlo. Abyste zjistili finální souřadnice, budete muset nejprve vyřešit dvě úlohy z oblasti balistiky a jednu úlohu střeleckou. Dávali jste pozor při matematice a fyzice na základní škole? Pozor, nenechte se zmást spoustou zbytečných údajů, které jsou uvedeny v zadání úloh. Zdaleka ne všechny uvedené údaje budete potřebovat. Některé údaje jsou jen pro zmatení a pro pobavení. Vyberte si jen ty důležité. Úlohy nejsou složité, k jejich vyřešení opravdu postačí znalosti matematiky a fyziky na úrovni základní školy. Výpočet souřadnic
Z pistole ráže 9 mm Luger byla vypálena střela. Střela má olověné jádro a tombakový plášť, hmotnost střely je 8 g, průměr střely je 9,02 mm, délka střely je 15 mm a rychlost střely v okamžiku opuštění hlavně je 350 m/s.
Pistole, ze které byla střela vypálena, má délku hlavně 114 mm a vývrt hlavně má šest pravotočivých drážek, jejichž stoupání (tj. vzdálenost, po které se otočí o 360°) je 250 mm. Vnější průměr hlavně je 14,4 mm. Pistole má černou barvu.
Střelec vypálil tuto střelu ve vodorovném směru na papírový terč vzdálený 25 m. Povrch, na kterém střelec stojí, má nadmořskou výšku 485 m n. m. Střelec je vysoký 178 cm a má hmotnost 89,4 kg (včetně oblečení a bot). Střelec má na očích brýle o síle -0,75 dioptrie. Relativní vlhkost vzduchu je 62 %, teplota vzduchu ve výšce 1 m nad povrchem je 23 °C. Výška travního porostu v prostoru mezi střelcem a terčem nepřesahuje 83 mm. Kolmo ke směru střelby fouká z pravé strany stálý vítr o rychlosti 3,8 m/s. Na střelnici poletují motýli různých druhů s průměrnou četností 0,0041 motýla na metr čtvereční.

Poznámka: tato úloha dělá všem největší potíže - ale není to proto, že by byla tak těžká, ale proto, že v ní všichni hledají zbytečné složitosti. Výpočet této úlohy lze dokonce vyhledat na internetu na jednom matematickém fóru, a to hned v několika šíleně složitých (a většinou chybných) verzích. Pro správné řešení stačí opravdu jen matematické znalosti na úrovni základní školy, cca 6. nebo 7. třídy. Vlastně stačí jen umět násobit a dělit. Nápověda: Drážky v hlavni tvoří závit, který se otočí jednou kolem dokola každých 250 mm. Kolikrát se tedy tento závit otočí kolem dokola na jednom metru? Kolik metrů za sekundu střela urazí, to přece víte. Tak kolik otáček za sekundu tedy střela udělá? :-)

History
This mystery cache will show you the shooting range near Cheb called “Myslivna” (“Gamekeeper’s lodge”). The shooting range has been here since the half of the nineteenth century, when it was kept by the army and local sharpshooters. Shooting range used to be 400 meters long. There are still walled and overgrown trenches visible at the beginning of the former shooting range. Interestingly, the impact bank wasn’t built as soon as the shooting range started here, but later, probably after complaints of farmers from the nearby village called “Horní Pelhřimov”, who felt endangered by falling ammunition ...
After the Second World War it was still owned by the state and administered by the army. Later it was used by “Svazarm”, now “AVZO”. There used to be roofed shooting positions and technical facilities at the shooting range in the past. In the 1980’s , however, the State Police demolished them, so that they couldn’t provide shelter to refugees who would like to get across the close border into Germany, and also agents who would like to secretly get from Germany to Czechoslovakia. What remained here, got destroyed or stolen. The shooting range remained without equipment and without buildings for a long time and it looked like a simple forest intersection with an impact bank. The situation began to change in 2016. A new drainage system was built here, the shooting range was fenced and got basic facilities.
Present days
Nowadays, the shooting range is used for trainings and regular shooting competitions on the distance of 100 m. If you come here at a time of a shooting competition, you can participate – the competitions usually allow participants without a gun license and the organizers will certainly be willing to lend you a gun legally under the supervision and let you shoot and maybe even win!
Description
The cache is not located in the area of the shooting range or other places where you might be at risk or where entry is limited or banned. Since the surrounding forests are rich in mushrooms and mushroom pickers, especially in the summer and autumn your presence will not be unusual or striking. And if you don’t shoot, you may at least find a nice mushroom.
Do not look for the cache at the initial coordinates, but you can park your car there. To find the final coordinates, you first need to solve two tasks in ballistics and one in shooting sport. Were you attentive at the lessons of mathematics and physics at the basic school? Attention, don’t let yourself get confused by a lot of unnecessary data that are listed in the assignment of the tasks. You will not need all the values at all. Some data are there only for confusion and amusement. Choose only the important values. The tasks aren’t difficult – you really need just the knowledge of physics and mathematics from the basic school. In case you have a problem with the formulas, the Internet will certainly help you...
Calculation of the coordinates
A pistol fired a 9mm–Luger bullet. The bullet has a lead core and tombac jacket, weight of the bullet is 8 g, the diameter of the bullet is 9.02 mm, the length of the bullet is 15 mm and the velocity of the bullet when leaving the barrel is 350 m/s.
The length of the barrel of the gun from which the shot was fired is 114 mm and the barrel bore has six right–handed grooves with the 250mm pitch (the distance over which they rotate by 360°). The outer diameter of the barrel is 14.4 mm. The pistol is black.
The shooter fired the bullet horizontally on a paper target in the distance of 25 m. The altitude of the surface where the shooter stands is 485 m above sea level. The shooter is 178 cm tall and he weighs 89.4 kg (including clothes and shoes). He wears glasses with the strength of -0.75 diopters. The relative humidity is 62 %, the air temperature at a height of 1 m above the surface is 23 °C. The height of grass in the area between the shooter and the target does not exceed 48 mm. A constant wind with the speed of 3.8 m/s is blowing perpendicular to the direction of fire. There are butterflies of various species flying in the area of the shooting range in an average count of 0.0041 of butterfly per square meter.
