Geocache Description:

"Finding a great geocache can make for an awe-inspiring adventure, but those adventures do not magically appear on their own. They are concocted inside the brilliant mind of a Geocache Maker. This crazy thing we call geocaching would simply not exist without the people who channel their creativity and innovative spirit into making great experiences for others."

Milvus-Milvus Maker Madness

The Sun, Hardingstone

Thursday 3rd April, 2014

7pm until 10pm

This event celebrates some of the local master crafters. There is no requirement to do so, but if you are proud of one of your creations then please bring it along to show us how it was constructed (you may have to disable the cache for the day!). We hope to have one or two masterpieces from last year along as "special guests" too! And don't forget - anyone who logs an “Attended” at a registered Maker Madness event will earn a Maker Madness souvenir!

If you have any further suggestions for exhibits, training sessions, or anything else - please get in touch via my profile.

We have secured the use of a private room (the Barn Bar) at the back of the pub, rather than the usual raised area inside. Go straight through to the beer garden, and the bar is on the right.

And a Happy Birthday too...

This date also happens to be the 10th anniversary of our first cache find: Accessible by Horse (the oldest cache in the county, and still active). When I started caching in 2004 there were only 17 caches in the whole of Northamptonshire - which meant driving quite a bit further between caches. Come and have a chat and I'll tell you how much better things were in the old days... ;)
