Attleborough Methodist Church
Methodists have been worshipping in the town and contributing to the community of Attleborough for many decades, and the present building has been providing a venue for worship and mission since 1913.
The new building was opened on 24th September 1913. The architect, Augustus Scott, had designed the church in a gothic style in a similar manner to several of his other East Anglian Churches. The horse pond opposite is now a car park.
The nineteenth century Wesleyan Church was demolished in the late 1950's. The congregation joined with that in London Road in 1981.
Mrs DG used to attend Youth Club here and indeed this continues to run. We pass this church on a daily basis and thought it would be nice to have a Church Micro located here.
You do not need to enter the Church Grounds to retrieve the cache.
