Ce monument rend hommage aux pigeons voyageurs utilisés durant la guerre pour transporter des messages. La statue « Au pigeon soldat » est l'œuvre du sculpteur Victor Voets. Elle a été inaugurée en mars 1931, à la fois pour rendre hommage aux pigeons, mais aussi aux colombophiles morts durant la Première Guerre mondiale.

The War Pigeon
