VG Albufeira

O vértice geodésico Albufeira situa-se na Mata da Apostiça, freguesia do Castelo, concelho de Sesimbra, a uma altitude de 101 metros e 62 centímetros. Trata-se dum vértice de ordem 3, de tipo bolembreano e fabricado em betão.
A partir da zona do vértice, aprecia-se uma bela vista sobre a Mata da Apostiça e os seus corta-fogos.
Ao contrário de outro vértice que se situa no interior da mata, este fica longe das zonas de caça pelo que não há perigo em visitá-lo.

Chega-se ao ponto inicial (nas coordenadas publicadas) subindo o trilho indicado pelo trailhead 'ACESSO'. Trata-se dum trilho ocasionalmente atravessado por pescadores para chegar ao mar.
No ponto inicial, observe a bola branca e estude as figuras geométricas que constituem a sua superfície. Determine qual o valor correto de A:
- A = 1 - superfície constituída exclusivamente por triângulos.
- A = 3 - superfície constituída por triângulos e por quadrados, com cada quadrado rodeado por 4 triângulos.
- A = 7 - superfície constituída por triângulos e por hexágonos, com cada hexágono rodeado por 6 triângulos.
- A = 9 - superfície constituída por triângulos, por quadrados e por hexágonos, com cada hexágono rodeado por 6 quadrados e 6 triângulos.
