St Thomas the Apostle Church was built in 1657 at a cost of £587, replacing an earlier church destroyed in the English Civil War. There is a large churchyard with several mature trees which despite being next to a main road is surprisingly quiet. The church is undergoing restoration work at the time of listing and visitors will be able to see signs of work taking place and see where work needs to be done.
The cache should be accessible to everyone. It is not hidden in the churchyard and is not too overlooked by nearby houses. Please extract the cache from its hiding place carefully and replace it securely.
Congratulations to 1+one for being FTF !
