De route is niet te lopen met een kinderwagen of rolstoel, aangezien het op bepaalde stukken erg zompig is. Bovendien is het landschap te oneven. Veel plezier met de route!
Waypoint P: De parkeerplaats. N51 23.859 E006 11.370
Langs de parkeerplaats loopt een wandelpad het bos in. Volg dit pad rechtsaf naar:
WP 01: N51 23.863 E006 11.442
Hier staat een routepaaltje ongeveer 1 meter van het pad. Welke kleur heeft de bovenkant van dit paaltje?
Rood A = 4
Groen A = 7
Wit A = 5
Loop het pad verder af naar:
WP 02: N51 24.0(A-5)0 E006 11.44(A+1)
In een straal van 15 meter rondom WP 02 staan meerdere paaltjes (ronde routepaaltjes en vierkante knooppunt paaltjes)
B = (het aantal paaltjes in een straal van 15 meter) x 2.
Volg het pad verder naar: WP 03: N 51° 24.070' E 6° 11.566
Vervolg je weg tot aan de T-splitsing. WP 04: N 51° 24.124' E 6° 11.555
Let op: Bij WP03 en WP04 horen géén opdrachten, deze WP’s zijn er enkel om de weg te wijzen!!
Recht voor je zie een omheind weiland met poelen. Ga hier links. Als je de verkeersweg oversteekt, doe dit dan voorzichtig.
WP 05: N51 24.0(B)(A-1) E006 11.(B-2)(A+B)A
Je heeft hier een mooi uitzicht over het meer, met enkele bankjes. In een straal van 15 meter rondom WP05 staan een aantal bankjes en prullenbakken.
C = het totale aantal bankjes en prullenbakken in een straal van 12 meter rondom WP 05
Loop nu verder naar:
WP 06: N51 24.(C-1)(A+C)B E006 11.C(B+C)(C+C)
In welk jaar schonk de Postcode Loterij deze bank aan het Limburgs Landschap?

Loop nu rond het zwart water naar:

Achter de paaltjes is een rustgebied. Je mag hier niet in. Als je het toch doet overtreed je een wetsartikel.

NOTE: As of 1-1-2019 there are some changes: new calculations with new numbers, new final WP and the final has a new size. Captain Rikkert, thanks for the cache: we will take good care of it. A nice walking route of approximately four kilometres through the nature area ‘Zwart Water’ and along the ‘Venkoelen’. This beautiful piece of nature is being administered by ‘Stichting het Limburgs Landschap’. The route is inaccessible with a wheelchair or child buggy, because the ground can be soggy at certain places. There are also elevation changes. Enjoy the walk!
