The settlers came from the UK , they came with Hope, but the years of struggle in primative conditions bought hardship and heartache to many. Their great determination and perserverance enabled them to survive. There is a plaque with the names of the original group settlers, and the site of the old school, alongside this is the Single Teacher's quarters, which is now the CWA hall. 'May children's laughter and birdsong always echo here' is on the sign on the door of the building. The cache is a sistema container painted black.
The cache is on the opposite side of the road in the bush as not to interfere with the buildings.
