The cache is located by the fish market. You can watch the local fishers bring in the catch and clean the fish. Many seabirds frequent the area, waiting for a bit of fish. You can even buy your lunch, and they will cook it for you near the cache.
From here you will be able to see some of the ironshore that surrounds parts of the island. This rocking shore often contains small marine creatures. On rough days, watching the waves crash into the rocks can be very beautiful.
This cache is inside of a private business, but the business owners have given permission for the placement. While it is techinically private, the area is open, and it should be available 24 hours a day.
The cache is a small container with room for a few trade items. There should be room for smaller travel bugs. Please remember that travel bugs (those items with a dog tag attached) should be logged and moved on to another cache-- they are not to keep. Please make sure you put the rubberband back around the log to make it easier for the next person to retrieve. While I would love photos of the surrounding area, any pictures posted of the actual cache will be deleted. Please enjoy Grand Cayman!
