Geocache Description:

Konteineris nav liepā. Liepā nav nedz jālien iekšā, nedz jākāpj!

The container is not in the lime tree (is not in the linden).

There is no information about private territory - just go and look for it.

The cache itself is a pet-bottle kit add with logbook and pen. The cache is very close to the old airfield of Dundaga - you have to drive through it. There are the coordinates for parking. Be careful. If the weather is wet - don't drive too close to the cache - you will stick in.

[LV] „Pie aizsargājamiem dabas pieminekļiem ir pieskaitāma pēc apkārtmēra lielākā liepa pie Dundagas Grīvu mājām, kas atrodas apmēram 200 m uz austrumiem no Grīvu karjea. Apkārtmērs 6,02m.” Izraksts no Dundagas pagasta teritorijas plānojuma 2004.- 2016.otrajai redakcijai.

Liepai var piekļūt, izbraucot cauri Dundagas vecajam lidlaukam tikai taisni, pabraucot garām Grīvu karjeram, kurš paliek labā pusē, nedaudz pagriežoties pa kreisi.
Stāsta, ka vecais Grīvu saimieks liepā esot uzlicis galdu, pie kura tad visa saime arīdzan tad ēdusi. Par to liecina arī dīvainā liepas forma.

Iespējams, ka liepa atrodas privātīpašumā, bet par to nenorāda nekādas zīmes, tikai neliels žodziņš ap sakņu dārziņu netālu no liepas. Esiet saudzīgi gan pret koku, gan apkārtni. Brauciet dienā, jo šis dabas brīnums ir jāredz.

The lime tree is close to the place of the old house place named "Grīvas" and also very close to the gravel quarry (pit) named by the same house. The legend says (or maybe it is true) that the old owner of the house "Grīvas" put there a very big table on the tree and the whole family eat there their meals in special events.
