Ma'ale Akrabim (Scorpions Ascent) is a very steep, scenic road with many hairpin turns. Not for the faint hearted.
The cache is hidden at the bottom of Ma'ale Akrabim, in the remians of Rogem Zafir, an ancient fort built by the Nabeteans during the early Roman Period. There are many interesting and challenging hikes in the area (Nahal Akrabim, Nahal Gov), though driving down Ma'ale Akrbim is a challenge in itself.
