Cache N 53° 19.711 W 003° 03.425 Unknown Small Difficulty 5 Terrain 2 This is quite a large challenge which will take significant travel and time to achieve. For anyone that does complete the challenge, there will be a great sense of achievement.

Before finding this cache (at the listed co-ordinates) you must meet the criteria listed below.

1. English geocaches are assigned to ten regions on the www.geocaching.com website.
2. The Oldest is defined as the earliest GC code (as opposed to the user entered ‘Placed Date’)
3. Finds that occurred prior to this cache being published qualify.
4. Archived geocaches for a region qualify provided that :
a) They were live/active at the time you found them.
b) Their GC code is earlier than the current active fifth oldest geocache for the region.
c) No other older archived geocaches have been identified as being active at the time of your find meaning it was not one of the five oldest in its region at the time of your find.
5. You must have visited the location and ‘found’ one of the five oldest caches in each of the ten English regions. Thus traveling caches, locationless caches, any ‘found’ without the need to visit the listed co-ordinates, and all type of events do not qualify.

Your find log should list the ten English regions together with GC code, name, placed date and date of your find for each of your qualifying caches.

Listed below are the five oldest active caches for each English region. If any of these get archived I will update the list with the new ‘oldest’ for that region (the archived ones will remain with a strikeout and can be counted if they had been found). The full list is also provided as a bookmark list.
