Hok Lau
The name of this cache refers to the two reservoirs: Lau Shui Heung and Hok Tau. In between these reservoirs is a hilltop with a fire lookout - this of course is a great viewpoint. The cache is hidden about 100m towards Hok Tau from the lookout, not the best viewpoint but safe from the cleaning efforts of the fire watchers.
The cache is along a well maintained footpath, near a split in the paths. It is off the Lau Shui Heung Nature Trail, which starts and ends at Lau Shui Heung reservoir. If you follow this nature trail you'll have to take a side path that runs over the hill, rather than the trail which runs around it.
the area is characterised by lushed woodlands, and of course the two small but beautiful reservoirs. Terrain rating is partly due to the rather steep ascend, be prepared to walk up many steps.
Getting there
Take minibus 52B from Fanling station (runs at :00 and :30), get off either at Lau Shui Heung reservoir or Hok Tau Reservoir. From both bus stops it's a short walk to the actual reservoir. The cache is in between these reservoirs, check OpenStreetMap for the trail.
