One of the besk hikes in the East Bay is from Lone Oak or Little Farm up to Peace Circle (two different routes possible), overlooking San Pablo Dam on one side and the entire Bay Area on the other. While you're up there, trek just a bit farther through the bramble to the mighty pine for a bit of sap-fingered fun. Especially gorgeous at sunset.
