This new series around PARTRIDGE GREEN, based on the song about THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS, replaces the previous series that I set in 2007. I thought it was time to do something a bit different! I hope you enjoy it.
There are 12 caches hidden on an easy winter walk of about 4 miles if you do them in numerical order, but you can easily do bits of the series at a time, as it closely circles the village. You will need to follow the footpath signs and not rely on your GPS to lead you directly from cache to cache, as I needed to find suitable places for these hides, and so could not place one at every direction turn, as I have tried to do with most of my other trails. On the page for 1st DoC I have given co-ordinates for suggested parking by the recreation ground, but there are also many other places around the village that you could park.
There are no pens in any of the caches, so you will need to bring your own.
