Español: El arco de Vijigua, en Tajao - Arico, de más de 40 metros de largo y de hasta seis metros de ancho, está constituido de pumita, de color ocre, compuesto de piroclastos y coladas ácidas, producto de erupciones muy violentas y explosivas en las que hubo nubes ardientes de gases y polvo volcánico, que cubrieron casi toda la Isla, pero hoy especialmente visibles en esta comarca. Su forma se asemeja al esqueleto de una ballena.
Allí pueden verse además las estructuras tafoni, creadas por la erosión constante del viento en estos materiales ligeros, de forma que se van desleznando y creando oquedades. En este entorno existen una antigua era y los restos de una cantera de pumitas abandonada. Se puede cruzar por encima del arco, aunque siempre extremando el cuidado, al tiempo que acceder a su parte inferior, también con un tronco en forma de cueva.
Nota: Recomiendo recorrer el sendero circular que llega hasta éste caché y descubrir el resto de cachés escondidos y deleitarse con los variados "Majanos o Mojones" distribuidos por todo el sendero, realizados todos ellos por una persona más que "Maravillosa, Encantadora y muy Especial" que reside habitualmente en una preciosa cueva cercana, quien cuida y mantiene los senderos existentes.
