Welcome to the BAC trails! These distinct trails were placed in conjunction with a nearby event (although attending this event is voluntary and is not necessary to find the caches), and I hope that they will draw people out to this amazing area. All of these caches have been placed along trails that cut throughout magnificent Wildlife Management Areas. As you gather each smiley (or frown), please take the time to really soak in the beauty and majesty of the Pinelands as well as all the surrounding area. There are seemingly endless trails every which way the eye can see, and you could easily get lost out here without modern technology to guide you. However, beware as many of these trails contain very large puddles and huge washouts, so I would reiterate to know the limits of your vehicle.
So now, on to the caches!! These caches are made up of several different types of containers, so you really never know what you’re going to come up with! Most of the containers are basic, nothing that you probably haven’t seen before, but I have thrown in a couple that I hope will entertain you. They will range in difficulty from quite simple to moderately hard. You may find one and say to yourself, “Wow, that was easy, this is no challenge at all”, only to find yourself at the very next cache scratching your head in frustration and disbelief. My hope is that you enjoy your time out here no matter how many caches you find (or don’t find hehe). Well now, with all that being said, get out there and grab some smileys!!!
