In August 2013 we spent a lovely time in this area (in a Gîte a little further up the road). I truly enjoyed all the many geocaches that people have placed here. In gratitude I decided to give something back: a geocache!
(a local man from the Gîte will take care of any maintenance).
It's just a cross, really. Like all the others, really. But these 'simple' crosses are always very photogenic and give atmosphere and character to the environment. They often carry old stories and are, for me as a foreigner, a part of the 'typical French' landscape. This is a small hommage to them!
Somewhere in the forest (W-SW) behind the Gîte is the carcass of and old van (first you'll find a door, a little further the rest of the car). I didn't measure the coordinates, so if anybody has them I'd be grateful, and will put them on the listing here as an 'interesting' point. ;-)

C'est juste une croix. Comme tous les autres. Mais ces croisements 'simples' sont toujours très photogénique et donner de l'ambiance et du caractère à l'environnement. Ils portent souvent des histoires anciennes et sont, pour moi en tant qu'étranger, une partie du paysage le 'typiquement Français'. C'est un petit hommage à eux!
Quelque part dans la forêt (ouest sud-ouest) derrière le gîte est la épave du fourgon de la vieille (d'abord vous trouverez une porte, un peu plus loin le reste de la voiture). Je n'ai pas mesuré les coordonnées, donc si quelqu'un a eux je serais reconnaissant, et je vais les mettre sur la liste ici comme un point 'intéressant'. ;-)
