[Fin] Hiukka liikuntaa – multikätkö pyöräilijöille, jalan liikkuville ja hiihtäjille Oulun uuden liikuntareitin varrella.
[Eng] A little bit of exercise – a multi-cache for bikers, hikers, joggers and skiers tracking a new exercise route in the city of Oulu.
[Fin] Tämä multikätkö esittelee yhden Oulun uusimmista liikuntareiteistä. Kätkö koostuu alkupisteestä, viidestä välipisteestä ja mikrokokoisesta päätepisteen kätköstä. Matkaa tälle etsintäreitille kertyy kahdeksisen kilometriä.
Reitin varrella, erityisesti alkupuolella ja kolmannen pisteen tuntumassa, on vielä nähtävissä lakkautetun Hiukkavaaran varuskunnan toiminnan jälkiä – kätkön nimessä Hiukka muistuttaakin osaltaan tästä paikallishistoriasta. Reitin loppuosuus puolestaan esittelee Oulun uusimman, vielä rakenteilla olevan lähiöalueen.
Alkupiste ja välipisteet ovat kirjoitusmerkintöjä, joissa geokätköilytunnuksen (kts. taustakuva) jälkeen ovat seuraavan pisteen minuutit ja desimaalit – huomioi siis että asteita ei ole merkitty muutoin kuin sellaisessa tapauksessa jossa ne muuttuvat seuraavalla pisteellä. Ylempi lukema on siis pohjoiseen leveyden minuutit ja desimaalit, alempi vastaavasti itäisen pituuden minuutit ja desimaalit.
Jos tulet kätkön lähettyville autolla, löytyvät sopivat parkkipaikat eteläpuolelta,Kiulukankaalta (naatit tulossa) sekä pohjoispuolelta Talvikankaalta, kts. waypointit. Sanomattakin on selvää että kaikki moottorikäyttöiset ajoneuvot ovat kiellettyjä liikuntareitillä.
[Eng] This multi-cache introduces one of the newest exercise route in the city of Oulu. The cache consists of the starting point, five interval stages, and of a final stage which is a microsized cache box. The length of this searching route is about eight kilometers.
On the beginning of this route, specially on the surroundings of the third stage, are still visible remains of the activities of the ceased presidio of Hiukkavaara. On the other hand, the final part of this route introduces the newest, large suburban area in the city of Oulu, still being under construction.
The starting point and the interval stages are written markings consisting of a geocaching symbol (see background image) and the minutes and decimals of the next stage – please notice, that degrees are not marked, unless there is a change of degrees on the next stage. The upper numbers present minutes and decimals of the northern latitude and the lower numbers respectively present the minutes and decimal of the eastern longitude.
If you approach this route by car, appropriate parking areas may be found on the southern side of this route, on the area of Kiulukangas (coordinates not yet revealed), and on the northern side of the route, on the area of Talvikangas, see waypoints. Needless to notify that all motor-driven vehicles are banned on this exercise route.
