Geocache Description:

Naujojoje Vilnioje Gerovės parke esantis stadionas savo gyvavimo metus skaičiuoja maždaug nuo 1944m. Tuo metu jis buvo vadinamas "boisko" ir manoma jog tai tebuvo šienaujama pieva, naudota kaip stadionas. Daugiau ir tikslesnes informacijos apie jo atsiradimą surasti nepavyko. Remdamasi tuo faktu, kad 1956m buvo įsteigtas futbolo klubas prie staklių įmonės „Žalgiris, manau, jog panasiu metu ir buvo pastatytas šis stadionas. Toks, kokio liekanas siandien matome.

Pridedu 1975m planą kuriame puikiai matosi stadiono statiniai.
