Part of a series of caches paying homage to the humble Cheese(man's) roll, with a bit of history thrown in. Before building began near this area, part of a roman road was discovered, with evidence of timber buildings, shrines and coins (not geocoins). A site at Park Farm which is crossed by one of the Roman Roads, also yielded Roman pottery fragments, some of wich were associated with the regional distribution of salt, probably made on Romney Marsh. Enjoy the hunt.
