Geocache Description:

St Margaret, Wicken Bonhunt

The Parish Church of St Margaret, including the chancel, are early 13th century, but there was extensive restoration and rebuilding in the 1850s in the 14th-century style. It is a Grade II* listed building.

The walls are of flint and pebble rubble with dressings of clunch. The roofs are tiled.

There are two sundials of unknown date carved into two corner stones where the south and east walls meet. The church has a belfry housing three bells. For about 100 years until 1967, 100 strokes of the tenor bell were tolled at 8 p.m. each week day as a curfew.

The interior includes a font that is thought to date from the 12th century.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list
