LV Objekta saistība ar kultu izriet no teikām par Velna darbībām gan pie paša ieža, gan apkārtnē. Lielākais smilšakmens izcilnis Sietiņieža dienvidu daļā nosaukts par Velna papēdi; D daļā, pie iegruvuma, atrodas arī Sietiņieža velnala. Sietiņieža velnala ir ~10,5 m gara. Ala unikāla ar to, ka tai abi gali vaļēji; te, netālu no agrākas, jau sagruvušās smilšakmens arkas vietas veidojas jauna arka. Pie ieejas ala ir plaša un augsta (5 m plata, 4 m augsta, 2,5 m dziļa), tālāk sašaurinās (30 cm augsta, 70 cm plata), līdz otrā pusē atkal veido piltuvi (dziļums 8 m, platums līdz 13 m), kas uztver visus sniega un lietus ūdeņus, kuri, tekot caur alu, to paplašina. (S. Laime, 2009) Alas augstums ir 1,2 m, grīdas platība 25 m2Kokmuižas pagastā Gaujas labajā krastā pie Sietiņu mājas atrodas tā sauktais Sietiņa iezis. Uz tā agrāk sēdējis velns, neviens mācītājs nav varējis to izdzīt, jo katram bijuši grēki. Beidzot Rubenes mācītājs aizdzen Velnu caur iezim Gaujas atvarā. Vēl tagad iezī palicis velna caurums, kur mazie velni nesuši akmeņus, bet, Sietiņu gailim dziedot, izmetuši tos Briežu muižas tīrumā. Viņi gribējuši taisīt tiltu par Gauju.” (23, 7306, tc. EN The object's relation to cult comes of the tales about the Devil's activities at the rock itself and in its surroundings. The largest sandstone protuberance in the southern part of the Sietiņiezis Rock is called the Devil's Heel; at the S part, at the cave-in, the Sietiņiezis Devil's Cave is situated. The Sietiņiezis Devil's Hill is ~10.5 m long. The cave is unique due to the fact that its both endings are open; here, not far from the former already collapsed sandstone arch, a new arch is forming. At the entrance the cave is wide and high (5 m wide, 4 m high, 2.5 m deep), further on it becomes narrower (30 cm high, 70 cm wide) until it forms a filler again on the other side (depth of 8 m, width up to 13 m) that catches snow and rain water that enlarges the cave while flowing through it. In former times the Devil sat on it, no priests could send him away from there, because each of them had sinned. Finally a priest from Rubene expelled the Devil through the rock into the Gauja whirlpool. Yet now in the rock there is a Devil's hole where small devils brought stones, but when a Sietiņi's rooster crowed, they threw the stones away in the field of the Brieži manor house. EN The cache itself for understandable reasons is little further away from the rock. Follow the footpath at the top of the cliff's edge. If too easy to find, feel free to hide it better:)
