Grūti pieejamā atrašanās vieta, nosaukums un nostāsti, ka šeit kristīti bērni, varētu liecināt par piederību seno kulta objektu kategorijai. Akmens apkārtmērs ir 13 m, augstums 2,8 m, garums 4,65 m, platums 3,65 m. Pašlaik sašķēlies, tam virsū sakritušas lielas, nokaltušas egles.autā saglabājušies nostāsti, ka pie akmens kristīti bērni. Bet Jūlīte (Jūle Paegle, novadpētnieces Melānijas Vanagas vecāmāte, dzimusi 1858. g.) zināja pastāstīt, ka agrā bērnībā pie šī upurakmeņa ticis pārkristīts viņas tēvs Mārcis. Akmens novietojies upītes vidū un balstās uz savas šaurākās malas kā milzīgs, zaļš, šķautņains kristāls, sūnu segā ietinies. Skuju ļaudis šo upurakmeni saukuši īsi — tikai par Akmeni.
