Geocache Description:

LV Slēpnis pie vecas takas uz akmeni - vai pirti.

EN Cache situated near old footpath to the Mazsalacas Hollow Stone.

LV Parkings ielas malā pie mnteļskursteņa - tā IR iela, nevis pagalms

EN Parking at the side of the street near old chimney, It IS street, not someones private yard!

LV Viens no Ziemeļvidzemes bedrīšakmeņiem. Akmens virsmā atrodamas 32 sfēriskas formas bedrītes. To dziļums ir no 0,2 līdz 1,1 cm, diametrs — no 3,5 līdz 7 cm. Izmēri: 0,70 m augsts, 2,10 m garš, 2,10 m plats, apkārtmērs 6,70 m. Sānā divas palielas iedobes. ZR sānā lēzena robveida ieloce, domājams, ka dabīgas izcelsmes. Virszemes apjoms ap 60 %. Atklājis Ansis Opmanis 2002. gada maijā. Bedrītes nav pārāk izteiksmīgas, salīdzinot ar citiem šāda veida akmeņiem Latvijā. (Ziemeļvidzemes ģeoparks, 2010–2011, ER)

Akmens atrodas palienes pļavā, netālu no pirts. No baznīcas puses uz pirti kādreiz vedusi taka, takas malā arī meklējiet. Pa taku / trepēm noejot lejā, akmens ir pļavā aiz pirts. No slēpņa akmeni neredz. BYOP. Iespējams, noderēs kabatas nazītis.

EN One of the cup-marked stones of Northern Vidzeme. On the surface of the stone there are 32 spherical cup-marks. Their depth is from 0.2 to 1.1 cm, diameter — from 3.5 to 7 cm. Dimensions: 0.70 m high, 2.10 m long, 2.10 m wide, circumference of 6.70 m. On a stone side there are two rather large hollows. On the north-west side there is a gradually sloping coving, probably, of natural origin. The volume above the ground is about 60 %. It was discovered by Ansis Opmanis in May of 2002. The cup-marks are not very explicit if compared to other stones of this type in Latvia. (North Vidzeme Geopark, 2010–2011)

The stone is situated in alluvial meadow near a sauna house. To the sauna house once a staircase and footpath led, search nearby it. From the cache location you can not see the stone, it is rather small, walk wown the stars / path and the stone is behind the bathhouse. BYOP. A pocket knife may be useful.
