Church Micro 4056…Waltham Cross Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

tyke: I came on a maintenance visit to replace the log scroll only to find that the host had been completely rebuilt in wood so obviously the magnetic container had gone along with the steel. It hasn't done badly. This is only the second time in just under 10 years that it has gone missing. I'm not replacing.

Geocache Description:

A 35mm film pot - as usual.

I originally saw this as a SideTracked cache then changed my mind and decided to add it to the Church Micro series hence the detail below.

This line has had a mixed fortune over the years. Continuous passenger service only recommenced after the line was electrified in 1960. The stations on this line as far as Broxbourne came into the Oyster Card area on 1st January 2013. Coming by rail is probably the best way to visit the cache as there is very little short-term free parking.

The usual disclaimer. The cache is not on railway property and you do not need to go onto railway land to get to and retrieve the cache.

What about the church? The only thing of interest I've noticed so far is that it is both CofE and Methodist
