So, it's my first experience of geocaching. As a destination, I chose a beautiful place - Sevan Monastery, located on a peninsula near the town of Sevan at the northwestern shore. There are two churches, Surb Arakelots meaning the "Holy Apostoles" and Surb Astvatsatsin meaning the "Holy Mother of God", both cruciform plan structures with octagonal tambous. St. Harutyun, the oldest church at the site, believed to have been established in 305 by Grigor Lusavorich, is now in ruins. Anyway, it's trace foundation show its large size.
