BERLIN Traditional Geocache

Dear geocaching fellows! I did hide this cache because there was one single cache in the whole area when I visited Tirana. Thus, to make you happy in this nice city, some caches have been hidden by me.
However, I live in another country and will not be able to maintain this cache.
So, please, take a nano/logroll with you and help to make this cache survive. Then, other cachers will also have fun, hopefully for a very long time!

I would like to show you a very estonishing place in the city center of Tirana. Have fun!

Berlin. The city having been devided for 28 years.
The Fall of the Berlin Wall was one of the most significant events of the last century. The German reunification unified separated families, friends and loved ones. This event led to the collapse of Communism all over Eastern Europe. If this event would not have happened, also Albania's situation would without any doubt be different today.

This segment of the Berlin Wall demonstrates the triumph of freedom. The memorial complex entitled "Post-Block" is located at the entrance of "The Block" which is the location of former Communist dictator Enver Hoxha's villa. The bunker that has been installed as part of the memorial complex is the one that garded the entrance. Several columns from the Spaç Prison galleries complete the memorial. "Post-Block" is a memory and embodiment for the sufferings that isolation causes and a strong symbol against dictatorship.
