Geocache Description:

This strange tree with its built-in natural steps virtually tempts you to climb on it. You simply cannot resist the temptation (at least I could not). I love climbing as well as geocaching and when I climbed on this tree, I immediately knew that I had to hide a cache on it.

The tree itself is easy to find. Once you are close to the final coordinates there is only one possible tree that fits the description above. In order to get your hand(s) on this cache you have to do some serious tree climbing (5 to 6 meters). If you are a wimpy scaredy-cat or if you have fear of heights, bring a ladder or a friend, and/or wear a harness and attach yourself to a rope, and/or put on climbing shoes, or just leave it. Better safe than sorry! Don't risk your neck for this cache. But with a bit of caution every adventure-minded geocacher should be able to log it.

The cache box is attached to the trunk of the tree. That means that you have to climb all the way up to where the cache is hidden. But the good news is that you do not have to climb down to log and do your exchange business. There is a quite comfortable stand on a strong and solid tree-limb right below the place where the cache is hidden.

Have fun! I am looking forward to reading your logs. Hopefully, there won't be any stories of broken legs and visits to the emergency room.

PS: If you want to widen your botanic horizon and want to know what kind of tree this is, read the very informative log of lynx.attentus (published 7/16/2013). Thanks for sharing this information lynx.attentus!
