Geocache Description:

YOUR LOOKING FOR A Lock & Lock BOX .......BYOP......................

***”IF THE CONTAINER IS MISSING PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LEAVE A DROP SO THE NEXT PERSON CAN FIND IT.. I’ll SORT IT OUT AND PLACE A NEW LOCK & LOCK WHEN I’M DOWN FOR VACATION…I HAD GIVEN THE OWNER OF THE SPACE SHIP MULTIPLE CONTAINERS JUST INCASE ONE DISAPPEARED BUT THEY WERE ALL BURNT UP IN THE FIRE.. THANKS… GEOCACHING CACHE OF THE WEEK- March 21, 2018 (https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2018/03/greetings-obx-earthlings-geocache-of-the-week/) JUST A FUN "ROADSIDE AMERICA" CACHE.......Just a little less than a year ago a rescue ship that was making an approach to retrieve the survivors of the original alien ship misjudged the landing and crash and burned, destroying both ships. Remnants of both ships can be seen as of the time of re-enabling.........NO AREA 51, BUT N.C.'s OWN VERSION OF AREA 12 on Hwy 12 in Frisco. Located midway between the towns of Buxton and Hatteras in Frisco, on the south side...A shiny silver "Futuro" house once stood..This was one of many prefab flying saucer homes manufactured in Pennsylvania in the late '60s-early -'70s, dubbed the "Futuro,"- about as way, way out as you can get and still be on dry land. The portable, prefabricated home design from 1968 was by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen. ............Saw this round, silver, alien ship next to a junkyard, while on a vacation to the Outer Banks in NC many years ago and knew then it had potential for a great cache stop and visit..It had several portholes/windows with different alien faces and figures in each window.....The (formerly) green UFO located on the NC Outer Banks was sporting a silver paint job........................................ PLEASE!!!!NO NEED TO BE CLIMBING ON THE WRECKAGE, THIS COULD VOID THE CACHE PLACEMENT BY OWNER...............ENJOY.......DAY LIGHT CACHING ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO NIGHT CACHING!!!!!!!!!!..........THIS IS A LONG DISTANCE CACHE ,SO NEVER BE AFRAID TO HELP A MAKER OUT (ALL HELP APPRECIATED)..........MAKE IT FUN ......FRANK & BRENDA...... *** Things to remember: **ALWAYS carry a writing utensil and basic TOTTs. **CITO when you can. **Give a favorite point to deserving caches. **Be safe, have fun, play fair, and practice kindness. **Geocaches can migrate. Don't be afraid to put the GPS down and just search! **Don't sweat the small stuff. It's just a game! CONGRAT'S TO Geogr4s ON HIS FIRST FTF.
