Valsts sociālās aprūpes centra Rīga filiāle (iepriekš - Bērnu sociālās aprūpes centrs “Rīga”) ir vēsturiski vecākais bērnu aprūpes centrs Latvijā. Valsts zīdaiņu patversmi Kapseļu ielā 31, 1922.gada 3.decembrī atklāja Latvijas pirmais prezidents Jānis Čakste. Tajā tika ievietoti atradeņi, vientuļo māšu bērni kā arī bērni, kuri zaudējuši vecākus. Ēku Kapseļu ielā 31 projektēja arhitekts Heinrihs Pīrangs.
Šobrīd Valsts sociālās aprūpes centra Rīga filiāle nodarbojas ar ilgstošas sociālās aprūpes un sociālās rehabilitācijas pakalpojumiem bērniem bāreņiem un bez vecāku gādības palikušiem bērniem līdz divu gadu vecumam, bērniem ar fiziskās un garīgās attīstības traucējumiem līdz četru gadu vecumam.

The branch of the Social Care Center Rīga (formerly known as Children’s Social Care Center “Rīga”) is historically the oldest child care center in Latvia. The first Latvian president Jānis Čakste opened the State infant shelter at Kapseļu street 31 on December the third in 1922. There were placed foundlings, children of single mothers as well as children who had lost their parents. The building at Kapseļu street was designed by architect Heinrich Pirang.
Currently the branch of Social Care Centre Riga deals with long-term social care and social rehabilitation services for orphans and children left without parental care under two years of age as well as children with physical and mental disabilities under four years of age.
