Geocache Description:

This cache is one of a pair - a puzzle and a challenge - dedicated to that ultimate International Man of Mystery, Austin Powers. Groovy, baby! (Neither of the caches are at their published coordinates).

Austin Powers

I may not quite have Austin Powers' mojo but having solved and found puzzle caches in five countries outside the UK, I'd like to think I too am an International Man of Mystery. See my Bookmark List.

I have set this challenge to see who else can achieve - or has already achieved - the mark. I thought those that qualify should also prove their puzzle solving skills on home ground, but rather than limiting the puzzle to those few who qualify for the challenge, I've opened it up to all in a separate puzzle.

Assuming you meet the qualifying criteria, solving/finding the puzzle cache is not mandatory, but cracking the following cipher will be much harder if you haven't. Good luck!

To find the cache coordinates you will need to decipher this message:

The qualification rules are as follows:

  • You must have found puzzle caches in 5 different countries outside of the UK.
  • For the purposes of this challenge, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are considered to be part of the UK.
  • Each cache must be of 'Mystery' type and require a puzzle - however simple - to be solved, either at home or in the field. (This will exclude most, but not all, challenges and bonuses).
  • Caches found prior to the publication of this challenge do qualify.
  • Puzzles may be presented in any language, but kudos for solving puzzles with the help of a translator!
  • For verification, you must provide (e.g. as a bookmark list) the country, GC code and cache name of each qualifying cache.
  • If in any doubt about your qualifying caches, please get in touch.

Fake ID cards for the first three agents to make the drop; counterfeit cash for the first.
