Mr Dutilleul est le personnage principal de la nouvelle “le Passe-Muraille” écrit en 1943 par Marcel Aymé (1902-1967) et dont l'action se passe principalement dans ce quartier (Mr Dutilleul habitait au 75 bis de la rue d'Orchampt, toute proche).
Ce livre raconte l'histoire d'un homme ordinaire qui un jour se découvre le pouvoir de passer au travers les murs... Je n'en dis pas plus, je ne voudrais pas vous gâcher le plaisir si un jour il vous prend l'envie de lire ce petit classique de la littérature française.
La statue voisine représente Marcel Aymé dans le personnage du Passe-Muraille, elle a été réalisée par l'acteur français Jean Marais (1913-1998).

The book tell the story of an ordinary man who someday find himself able to walk through the walls... I don't tell you more, I don't want to spoil the story if someday you want to read this little classic of french literature.
