This is a bit of a lark with art of the geocaching type.
To get to GZ you’ll need to solve a simple puzzle – then head off into the wild blue yonder for a top drive.
* The track is for 4WD’s, high clearance all wheel drives, off road motorbikes and mountain bikes if you’ve got the stamina.
* There’s some creek crossings some that might be dry, one’s permanent.
* It’s a track and other vehicles use it so watch it when you pull over – drive with your headlights on.
* Not all GZ’s have vehicle parking so use common sense, most places are wide enough for 2 cars to pass if not get out and have a look for a better place.
* Like all tracks there might be obstacles like logs across the road, cart a chainsaw or something similar with you because you never know. OR be prepared to turn around.
* The tracks can be greasy in the wet and even ice up in winter, who knows you might even encounter snow, if your vehicle is not prepared for this don't go. It can get a wee bit chilly so pack your beanie in winter, hitch a lift with someone better prepared or just wait for summer and dry weather.
* Make sure your hand brake works and leave your car in gear if you stop the engine.
* Good hints have been given as your GPS coverage might be affected by the terrain and dense tree cover!
* The containers cost money so look after them!! Abit of respect and rehide as found if not better.
* Yeah there’s a few caches on the way but don’t forget to look around and check out where you’re at – not a bad piece of country to be cruising around.
* Watch the blackberry, it’s everywhere but tried to pull it out at each GZ. Feel free to take your gloves and do the same!
