Pan314159: I've been thinking a lot about this cache in the last few weeks, and I'm afraid I've decided to Archive it.
I went out to replace the log/container a couple of times, and both times found that I couldn't due to the rubbish that had built up. At the time when I first hid it, this cache was a nice little hiding spot near some shops, from where you could see the trains. It's now turned into exactly the kind of horrible dirty place that I hate finding cahches, so that's why I'm Archiving it.
