Deixe o carro junto a uma mesa de pic-nic, próximo do local onde deve iniciar o percurso pedestre ou então, estacione mais adiante, junto ao “Sítio das Fontes”.

Comece a caminhar junto à mesa de pic-nic e, a partir daí siga pelo trilho que vai sempre descendo. Irá encontrar um trilho à esquerda com a indicação de “caminho errado”: não se preocupe e siga por aí. Mais à frente encontrará uma placa a indicar o caminho para a Fonte Férrea e, depois de descer mais um pouco, chegou ao local.
Tire a fotografia da praxe junto à placa “Fonte Férrea” e depois disso, inicie a procura da cache que está fixa numa das árvores mais importantes da economia Portuguesa, muito próximo da Fonte Férrea.
No Verão, tenha cuidado com as abelhas! Sente-se e relaxe um pouco antes de iniciar a subida de regresso.
For you to reach Fonte Férrea to find the cache, you must go through the forest trees. Before you enter into the woods, wander a bit through Barranco do Velho, by contacting its inhabitants and taste the honey and the arbustus. When you will get to Fonte Férrea you will hear some sounds and feel the smells that are peculiar to the surrounding nature. If you go to Fonte Férrea, do not take your car! Park it next to the picnic table, where you will be starting your walking route or, park it further along the "Sitio das Fontes". For you to go to Fonte Férrea, you should ignore the signs of the footpath! Start walking along the picnic table, and from there follow the trail down. You will find a trail on the left showing you the "wrong way": do not worry and follow around. Farther ahead you will find a board that tells you the way to Fonte Férrea, then go down a little more so as to arrive at the location. Take a picture of the practice by the sign "Fonte Férrea", then look for the cache which is fixed in one of the most important trees of the Portuguese economy, very close to “Fonte Férrea”. In summer beware of the bees! Sit down and relax a bit before starting the climb back.
