Genuss-Punktegeier-Powertrail 2.0

Der Genuss-Punktegeier-Powertrail 2.0 (GPG 2.0) führt von Amlach (700m) über den Goggsteig und den Westgrad auf den Rauchkofel (1910m). Vom Sender geht’s weiter zur Dolomitenhütte (1620m), über den Rudl-Eller-Weg aufs Hohe Törl (2233m), zur Karlsbader Hütte (2260m). Von der Karlsbader gibt’s eine Verbindungsetappe übers Laserztörl (2497m) zum Original! Aber der GPG 2.0 führt von der Karlsbader übers Kerschbaumer Törl (2285m) zur Kerschbaumer Hütte (1902m)! Die kurze Variante führt jetzt zum Klammbrückl (1104m) und den Goggsteig zum Ausgangspunkt! Für die Cacher, die immer noch nicht genug haben, hat der GPG 2.0 auch noch einen Gipfel zu bieten! Von der Kerschbaumerhütte (1902m) zum Hallebachtörl (2399m) auf den Spitzkofel (2717m)! Der Abstieg erfolgt über das Hallebachtal zum Klammbrückl (1104m) und ebenfalls über den Goggsteig zum Ausgangspunkt!
Aus Sicherheitsgründen benutzt BITTE die Spoilerfotos! Der Satellitenempfang ist unter Umständen nicht der Beste und bei ein paar Caches besteht Absturzgefahr!!! Die Dosen liegen immer nur ein paar Meter neben dem Weg (außer 32)!

The Gogg(GC 1BEDD) werden euch am Trail begegnen!

Jedem ist natürlich, wie beim Ersten, selbst überlassen, ob er den gesamten Trail oder nur einen Teil davon bewältigt. Es gibt jetzt noch mehr Möglichkeiten bei der (Cache)tourplanung! Man kann z.B. bei der Dolomitenhütte (Maut!) oder beim Klammbrückl starten! Aber das ist natürlich jedem selbst überlassen
Bei der Dolomitenhütte, der Karlsbader Hütte und der Kerschbaumer Hütte kann man sich körperlich stärken, und nach erbetener Voranmeldung, auch nächtigen!

Es ist ratsam, außer dem GPS, noch eine Wanderkarte mitzunehmen. Wichtig ist, dass man die Wettersituation berücksichtigt (bei Gewittergefahr nicht ratsam) und sich dessen bewusst ist, dass der gesamte Weg in schwierigem alpinen Gelände liegt. Daher ist gute Ausrüstung, vernünftiges Handeln und eine gewisse Kondition unbedingt notwendig. 3150hm + die Verbindung
Die Terrain-Bewertung ergibt sich aus der Beschaffenheit des Weges. So manche Bäche sind zu überwinden und man muss auch noch im Juni mit Schnee rechnen.

English Version:

The Genuss-Punktegeier Powertrail 2.0 (GPG 2.0) is starting from the village Amlach (700m), following the Goggsteig – path and Westgrad until the height of Rauchkofel (1910m). From the broadcasting tower the way is going down to the lodge Dolomitenhütte (1620m) and then up again through Rudl-Eller-Weg – path to the mountain connection Hohe Törl (2233m) and finally the lodge Karlsbader Hütte (2260m). From the Karlsbader Hütte it is possible to reach the original powertrail via Laserztörl (2497m)! But the GPG 2.0 is going from the Karlsbader over the Kerschbaumer Törl (2285m) to the lodge Kerschbaumer Hütte (1902m)! The short version will lead you to the bridge Klammbrückl (1104m) and then back the Goggsteig to the starting point. For those who are still not tired the GPG 2.0 offers one more peak to reach! After the start from the Kerschbaumerhütte (1902m) you reach the Hallebachtörl (2399m) and finally the Spitzkofel - summit (2717m)! The climb-down is following the Hallebachtal valley, reaching the bridge Klammbrückl (1104m) and then also leading through the Goggsteig back to the starting point!
For your own security please use the spoiler pictures! The satellite signal might not be very clear and at some parts of the way there can be a danger of falling!! Usually the boxes are hidden just a few meters off the path! (except 32)

You can log three additional caches during this trail - Rauchkofel(GC 2WP1K), Karlsbader Hütte (GC 3NQTR) and The Gogg (GC 1BEDD) .

Same as at the original Genuss-Punktegeier Powertrail you can decide if you want to finish the whole trail or just one part of it. There are even more possibilities to do this hiking trip, for example you can start at the Dolomitenhütte (toll) or at the Klammbrückl – feel free to chose your optimal route! At the lodges Dolomitenhütte, Karlsbader Hütte and Kerschbaumer Hütte it is possible to eat and to sleep (reservation required).
It is also useful to take a hiking map apart from GPS with you. Please, check out the weather before starting (thunderstorms in the mountains are dangerous) and be aware of the fact that the whole trail is leading through difficult alpine terrain. That is why good equipment, responsible behaviour and physical stamina (3150 elevation gain + connection way) are necessary for a successful hike. The rating of the terrain refers to the condition of the path because you have to cross rivers and even in June have to expect snow on the way.
