Os charcos constituem autênticos abrigos para um elevado número de espécies animais e vegetais. Procurar esta cache é conduzi-lo ao incrível mundo dos insetos e dos anfíbios que encontram aqui condições excelentes para viver. Mesmo no Verão, apesar de todo o calor, nem se vai lembrar disso com tanta natureza tão perto para descobrir.
Dê a volta ao charco até o conhecer como a palma da sua mão. Pelo caminho, remexa num arbusto que outrora era um dos principais constituintes da floresta mediterrânica. Com cuidado, pegue numa pequena caixa transparente e registe a sua presença!
Antes de ir embora, não deixe de caminhar ao longo desses trilhos, lado a lado com vinhas, pomares de citrinos e o que resta dos tradicionais pomares de sequeiro. Veja como toda a paisagem muda e sinta a presença de outras espécies.
The ponds are authentic shelters for a large number of animals and plants. If you find out the cache you will be taken to the amazing world of insects and amphibians with excellent conditions for them to live here. Even in hot summer, you would be certain to forget about it if you realize that there are so much left of nature for you to discover nearby.
Go round the pond until you get to know about it well. As you walk, stir up a bush that was once one of the major constituent elements of the Mediterranean forest. With care, pick up a small transparent box and register your presence!
Before you go away, make sure you walk alongside vineyards, citrus groves and that which remains of the traditional dryland orchards. See how the whole landscape changes and feel the existence of other species.
