Ein einfacher Tradi im Zentrum von Tulln.
Der Stadtturm mit einem sehr kleinen Teil der ehemaligen Stadtmauer, sowie Stadtgraben, ist der letzte Rest der Tullner Stadtbefestigung, die aus dem 13. Jh. stammt und 1860 zum größten Teil geschleift wurde.
Er war der südwestliche Eckturm der Stadtummauerung und wurde 1560 errichtet, aber bereits 1590 durch das "Neulengbach-Tullner Erdbeben" schwer beschädigt.
Er hieß früher wegen seiner runden Form "G'scheibter Turm" und trug ein Kegeldach. Im Jahre 1983 wurde der Stadtturm statisch gesichert und renoviert.
Besichtigung: Nur von außen möglich.
WICHTIG:
Ihr braucht nirgends hinaufklettern und es ist nicht notwendig Steine zu entfernen!!!

A simple tradi in the center of Tulln.
The city tower with the remainig rest of the former city-wall is the last remnant of Tulln’s city fortifications, which originate from the 13th century and were razed for the most part in around 1860.
It was the south-western corner tower of the city-walls and was constructed in 1560.
However, already in 1590 it was heavily damaged in the Neulengbach-Tulln earthquake.
It was formerly called "G’scheibter Turm” ("disced tower”) due to its round form and originally had a cone-roof. In 1983, the city tower was statically secured and renovated.
Visits: only on the outside possible.
IMPORTANT:
You don't need to climb and it is not necessary to remove stones!
