A Praia do Garajau localiza-se no Caniço, debaixo da falésia onde está a estátua do Cristo Rei. É um local belíssimo com vistas fantásticas para a baía do Funchal. Esta fantástica praia de calhau é banhada por águas cristalinas e fica numa zona tranquila perto da Reserva Natural Submarina. Este local é muito conhecido por ter óptimas condições para a prática do mergulho. As suas instalações foram recentemente renovadas e tem vigilância durante a época balnear. Podem chegar até a praia de carro ou se preferir pode descer no Teleférico

The Beach Tern is located in Canico, under the cliff where the statue of Christ the King is a beautiful place with fantastic views over the bay of Funchal. This is fantastic pebble beach lapped by crystal clear waters and is located in a quiet area near the natural underwater reserve. This place is known for having excellent conditions for diving. Its facilities have been recently renovated and is supervised during the bathing season. Can reach the beach by car or if you prefer you can descend into the cable car
