A tough nano cache to find in a potentially filled area. USE EXTREME STEALTH--THE CACHE HAS BEEN MUGGLED FOUR TIMES. No climbing involved, this is easy terrain. My advice: go for it on the weekend and park along Washington Street or in Downtown Dover. First 15 minutes are free! And, as usual, please hide exactly as found.
This cache is named "Powerhouse" in reference to one of the multiplayer maps in one of my favorite video games, Halo: Reach. Yes, I am a geek. But more importantly than that, the cache is located in the shadow of one of the defining features of Dover Downtown, that giant smokestack that many of us see daily. This was once on of two smokestacks that were part of the Cocheco Mills. However, given the number of great caches in the area that describe these monuments of industry in Dover, I will elect to give a little detail instead on the fictional "Powerhouse." It is an abandoned hydroelectric power plant on the planet of Reach (a habitable planet about 10 parsecs from the Sol system, and one of the oldest human colonies in the mythology of Halo), yet it seems to be an area of some interest, as thousands of virtual battles are fought on the terrain every day. It is a multi-storied, small map, stocked with power weapons, including the fictional M41 SSR MAV/AW and the T2 EW/H. Note: If any of these fictional weapons are found, please contact the nearest UNSC recruiting station or the New Alexandria Police Department. Good hunting! Congratulations to hoosier81 for the FTF!
