Tin Sau Bazaar is located at Tin Sau Road in Tin Shui Wai North, next to the Tin Sau Road Park. The area of the bazaar is about 3,800 square meters. It is completed in February 1, 2013.
September 2012, Hong Kong government announced the allocation of a piece of land in Tin Shui Wai for the establishment of a Tin Sau Bazaar. Evidently, the government is trying to further boost the local economy and increase employment opportunities to help the local inhabitants out of their misery. As the rents for the bazaar stalls are very reasonable, the operating costs are relatively low and daily necessities can be sold at reduced prices. This can help relieve the economic burden on the local inhabitants. So the establishment of the Tin Sau Bazaar is very well meant.
However, the management of this project is very bad. Most of Hong Kong people, even Tin Shui Wai residents also do not know how to go to Tin Sau Bazaar. No notice is shown at Tin Shui Wai West Rail Station and Tin Sau Light Rail Station. Therefore, the development of the bazaar is not successful. So, I place a cache here to lead geocachers visit this interesting bazaar.
The Bazaar opens from 8am to 8pm everyday. Welcome to Tin Sau!
Public Transport: Take 705 light rail to Tin Sau Light Rail Station from Tin Shui Wai West Rail Station, and walk about 300m.
