Le chemin coutumier tracé entre la Nouvelle Calédonie et le Larzac a connu déjà des moments très forts.
En 1988, au lendemain du drame d'Ouvéa, les Paysans du Larzac donnaient symboliquement aux Kanak une parcelle de terre et Jean-Marie Tjibaou y plantait un arbre de la Liberté.
Un an plus après, lors de la levée du deuil de la tuerie de la grotte d'Ouvéa, Jean-Marie Tjibaou et Yéiwéné Yéiwéné étaient tués à Ouvéa, à bout portant, par Djubelli Wéa, et ce dernier immédiatement abattu par un gendarme kanak.
Un mois plus tard , Marie-Claude Tjibaou, en présence de toute la communauté Kanak de Montpellier, posait la première pierre de la caselle dédiée à la mémoire de Jean Marie et "Yéyé".
La cache vous mène à cette parcelle Kanak chargée d'histoire. N'hésitez pas à en faire le tour car elle comporte beaucoup de coins particuliers et surprenants. Veuillez néanmoins à bien respecter cet espace.
Attention avec de jeunes enfants la cache est située proche du vide.

The usual path drawn between New Caledonia and Larzac already knew very strong moments.
In 1988, after the drama of Ouvéa, the Farmer du Larzac gave symbolically in Kanak a plot of land and Jean-Marie Tjibaou planted a tree of the Freedom there.
One year more later, during the levying of the mourning of the slaughter of the cave of Ouvéa, Jean-Marie Tjibaou and Yéiwéné Yéiwéné were killed to Ouvéa, at point-blank range, by Djubelli Wéa, and the latter immediately was brought down by a Kanak gendarme.
One month later, Marie-Claude Tjibaou, in the presence of all the community Kanak of Montpellier, laid the foundations of the caselle dedicated to the memory of Jean Marie and "Yéyé".
The hiding place leads you to this plot of land Kanak steeped in history. Do not hesitate to make the tour because contains many particular and surprising places. Please nevertheless respect well this space.
Attention with young children the hiding place is situated close to the space.
