dartymoor: Checked on a walk around and sodden as reported. Didn't have any spares with me, and am cutting back on caches, so removed it to free up the space for someone else - wasn't happy leaving it there in that condition.

Geocache Description:

Please write an interesting log, not just TFTC or a cut and paste - I enjoy reading about your visit and it's very boring to get dull logs. Be inventive!

This dam seperates Tottiford (to the right) and Trenchford. It's a pretty spot for a picnic, birdwatching and dogwalking with free parking very close by.

Both of these dams, together with Kennick above, supply Torquay with water. The Dartmoor Way passes this cache.
