Geocache Description:

Close to the first commemorative plate celebrating the opening of Trenchford Resorvoir in 1907 - completing the three consecutive dams supplying water for Torquay. Trenchford alone has capacity for 200,000,000 gallons. Please write an interesting log, not just TFTC or a cut and paste - I enjoy reading about your visit and it's very boring to get dull logs. Be inventive!

This is a stunning area with easy and attractive year-round walking. This cache is roadside and suitable for wheelchairs, but some paths nearby aren't. The Dartmoor Way passes this cache.

Thanks to Ed-Don for info, this is a Morton Fence Post (See http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/Francis_Morton_and_Co )
