Getting There
You can approach this hill from Booroomba Rocks, Georges Creek Fire Trail, or from Smokers Trail (like we did). From the Smokers Trail car park, follow the trail until it is time head off to Bruce's Bin Here. From that cache head down the to Blue Gum Meadow and then across and up to Blue Gum Bonus. From this cache follow the ridge to the cache. This route is about 6km each way.
The Location
The views from here are spectacular. You can see most of Tuggeranong, including the lake, part of LBG and Black Mountain Tower.
The Cache
Once you are near GZ, make your way carefully down to the viewing platform. The cache is approximately 5 metres to the south east in a rocky crevice. PLEASE print out and take the spoiler photos with you. In steep terrain like this the GPS can be unreliable.
I was accompanied by mtbikeroz and Doppelfrog on the walk to place this cache and they will log their finds after the FTF is made.
